"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love Total Wine & More. Every visit feels like a kid walking into a candy store. The selection is simply unbelievable. Whether you’re looking for wine, bourbon, Scotch, Irish whiskey, Japanese whisky, rum, tequila, cognac, beer, or something more unusual, you’ll probably find dozens—if not hundreds—of options. As someone living in New York City, I often struggle to find many of my favorite wines in local liquor stores. Here, it’s never a problem. The wine selection is outstanding, with bottles for every taste and every budget. The bourbon and whiskey selection is incredible—literally thousands of choices from all over the world. The same goes for rum, tequila, gin, and craft beer. It’s one of those stores where you come in for one bottle and somehow leave with six. Another reason I keep coming back is the staff. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, professional, and genuinely knowledgeable. The wine specialists are always happy to recommend a bottle, explain the differences between regions or vintages, and help you find exactly what you’re looking for without ever being pushy. Without a doubt, this is my favorite liquor store. The hardest part isn’t finding what you want—it’s convincing yourself to stop putting more bottles into the shopping cart! Highly recommended."

"This Total Wine store is huge, very popular among locals, always has lots of foot traffic. We went on Sunday noon to get some drinks for a house party. The look is designed beautifully. It’s also tidy and well maintained. I almost a get feeling of an upscale liquor store every time I come here. As I walked around the store, I saw huge collection of all sorts of, beer, wines and spirits. It takes a while to explore each of the sections that has huge number variety. Some had really good sales on them. There were also multiple wine/spirit tasting stations where customers were served a variety of drinks. In the beer section they had some amazing options. There were a lot of local beer names listed on the wall above the coolers. I bought a mixed flavor pack of Smirnoff ice. Price was decent for a 12-pack, checkout was a breeze. The guests loved the different flavors of original, mango, apple and orange at the party. Previously I also had bought champagne and other spirits for gifts and occasions. I took help of the staff on multiple occasions as I am no expert when it comes to liquor. They have been always friendly in assisting and suggesting per my situation."

"A fantastic selection and very competitive prices make this my absolute favorite spot for wine and spirits. I visit about twice a month, and while I usually find what I'm looking for, it's the thrill of discovering something new or a great deal that keeps me coming back. As the photos show, their inventory, especially for premium whiskey and wine, is incredibly impressive. You can see rare finds like the Yamazaki 18-year for $999.99 and even a Yamazaki 12-year for $177.99, which are often hard to come by elsewhere. They also carry unique selections like the Shibui series and ImpEx offerings. Their range of high-end whiskies, including Kavalan and Clynelish, often comes at prices that are very competitive, sometimes even $20-$50 less than other local liquor stores, even with their upcharge on rare items. For instance, the George Dickel 18-year, originally $499.99, was on sale for $419.99! This makes seeking out those harder-to-find bottles much more appealing here. The staff is consistently friendly and extremely helpful. I really appreciate that they always have plenty of carts available, and they'll box up your purchases, which makes it incredibly easy to transport everything to your car, especially when you're stocking up. I've noticed they have a wine tasting room, which is a great feature, though I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. While the selection is truly vast, it's not always exhaustive, which can be a minor point of disappointment sometimes. For example, on my last visit, I was a bit surprised and bummed to find they didn't have any Amarone in the Italian wine section. With such an extensive collection, I guess I sometimes expect them to have absolutely everything! Overall, this is an outstanding store that I highly recommend for both everyday purchases and special finds. You can always count on a great experience and excellent value."

"Terrible customer service. Don’t often leave reviews but it was that bad that I feel the need to write this. I asked one of the employees for help looking for a bottle, he had headphones on and didn’t really seem to care. He just glanced at my phone and said ‘i don’t know anything about that’ with a bad attitude and brushed me off. I then asked someone else for help and they told me that I could help someone at the register and that they would get it. I went and asked and they had no clue what I was talking about and when I told them they said ‘they sent you here?’ All confused and eventually they said they were out of stock. So basically everyone was either with an attitude or uniformed."
